Karah at The Space Between invited me to her “What Does Your Blog Want To Be When It Grows UP?” party…
You know me…I love a party!
At first I thought….”Sweetwater Style isn’t even a year old….I don’t think I can have  a vision for it yet!”
As I thought more….I realized that I probably should get a vision…so Thank You Karah for pushing me to do this!

Here I am way back when with my VERY first Kindergarten Class!

I decided to use what I know from my experience as a teacher to frame this….

Start with a mission…..
Add some goals….
Gather Resources…..
Write some “lessons”….
Do some periodic assessments….
Adjust the goals….
Repeat…Repeat….Repeat!

As I reflected on What I want Sweetwater Style to become I thought of the classic essay All I Really Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten”
 By Robert Fulghum
So with apologies to Mr. Fulghum…..here is my take on how what I learned in Kindergarten and as a Kindergarten teacher relates to Sweetwater Style!

Share everything…..Well….isn’t that why we blog?  Blogging gives me an outlet to share my ideas/projects/tips with an audience.  And my new blog friends return the favor with their own great ideas!
Play fair….Connecting with other bloggers through the variety of networks means that you need to follow the rules….linking and commenting on parties might take time….but it is only fair to give credit where credit is due!
Don’t hit people…..It is hard to imagine that some people make negative comments on posts….but for heaven’s sake I never can imagine why they do!
Put things back where you found them….Keeping my blog organized is a constant challenge….where did I file that great picture for a future post.  I hope that I can become more skilled at this.
Clean up your own mess….see above!!!
Don’t take things that aren’t yours….well not unless I give them credit or pin them on my pinterest boards.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you…..
Live a balanced life –
Learn some and think some
And draw and paint and sing and dance
And play and work everyday some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world,
Watch out for traffic,
Hold hands and stick together.
Be aware of wonder.
